In the current EuroLeague competition, a rematch of last year´s gold medal game between the reigning cup winners of VK Primorac Kotor, Montenegro und Italian powerhouse Pro Recco is still possible in the final game. Both teams cannot face each other before this year final game, as today´s big draw procedure at Hotel Cicerone in Rome, Italy showed. Interestingly enough, Kotor is playing their country-men of 2004 finalist PVK Jadran CBK Herceg Novi, as they already did in 2009.

2008 winner Recco gained a pretty easy draw against Montnegro´s number three PVK Budva “M:TEL”. Spanish champion CN Atlètic Barceloneta (ESP) is facing their Croatian counterpart of VK Jug “Croatia Osiguranje” Dubrovnik. The fourth match be a clash of two member of the transnational Inter League, as Hungary´s number three ZF Eger is facing 2007 bronze medallist VK Partizan Raiffeisen” Belgrade from Serbia which had a 6-0-0 run the Preliminary Round matches. But Partizan could face Recco in the semi-final game, and a European Final Four in the Serbian capital is supposed to be possible.
