Spain takes last medal round berth – clear sweeps for the Netherlands und Italy

(Wolfgang Philipps) The last Preliminary Round day of the V Women´s European Youth Championships in Győr, Hungary was day of scoring festivals. Even the last crucial head-to-head duel for a medal round spot ended with a clear result, when Spain outscored Germany 23-7 to finished third in Group B. In the matches of Group A the Dutch even achieved a shut-out today, beating France 25-0 today.
