The road to Stuttgart: Eight junior teams to battle for Slowianka Cup

(Wolfgang Philipps) A big tournament on the way to next month´s European Junior Qualification Tournaments will be held 18-21 March in Gorzow Wlkp, Poland. Seven national teams and a selection of the Eastern states in Germany with players of the age group 1993 will be battle for the Slowianka Cup. The matches will be held at the Slowianka Sports and Recreation Centre which has already earned some international fame as venue for waterpolo competitions.

Corfu: gold medal rematch in the semi-finals
A rematch of last year´s gold medal game will take place at the European Final Four to be held 9-10 April at the Greek island of Corfu. This time the reigning title-holders of Vouliagmeni NC from Greece will face record winner “Geymonat” Orizzonte Catania from Italy already in the semi-finals. Russian champion Kinef “Surgutneftegas” Kirishi will face their Greek counterpart Olympiacos Piraeus in the second match.» more

Women´s Final Four to be held at Corfu - European Cup draws on Monday
Once more a big draw ceremony will be held at the Hotel Cicerone in Rome, Italy on Monday. Starting at noon, 16 teams in all four competitions are facing interesting results. Here the latest news is the announcement of the host of the Final Four in the Women´s European Champions Cup. This year´s event will be held 9-10 April at the marvellous Greek island of Corfu. In this competition the semi-final matches will be drawn tomorrow.» more
