Serbia wins dress rehearsel in Greece

Defending European champions Serbia concluded their three-day training camp in Athens, Greece by beating the home team and current world's number 3 in a dress rehearsal on Tuesday: 12-11. Dusan Mandic and Milan Aleksic led the scorers for the winners with 3 each as Aleksic was also responsible for netting the game winner 2 minutes from the end. For Greece top shooter Giannis Fountoulis was on fire scoring 6 goals while centre forwards Konstantinos Mourikis and Christodoulos Kolomvos combined for 3 goals. The Serbs will return to Belgrade where they will enter their team hotel on January 8 for the 2016 European Championships to start. The first match for Serbia, against Croatia, will be played on Sunday, January 10. Greece will open their competition the following day when the match-up with fellow group favourites Hungary is the concluding encounter of day 2 in the Kombank Arena.
