2012 World Youth Championships draw

The draw for the FINA World Youth Water Polo Championships 2012 in Perth, Australia was held at the ocassion of the recent 2012 Olympic Games in London, Great Britain. Twenty participating sides in the men's tournament, and sixteen women's teams will battle for the World Youth championship in Western Australia from 1-9 December. The tournament will also mark the first time one city hosts both the men’s and women’s competitions at a FINA age group Championships. In the men's tournament the group winners will qualify for the quarterfinals automatically, to be joined by the four winners of the crossing matches (2A - 3D, 2B - 3C, 3A - 2D en 3B - 2C).
