C.N. Sabadell is the new Spanish national Cup winner. On Sunday, the current league's number two defeated Atlètic-Barceloneta 10-11 in a thrilling final at Sant Andreu. Marko Cuk scored the winning goal for Sabadell with just 33 seconds to play. Barceloneta got a final change but Spanish national team goalkeeper Iñaki Aquilar blocked the last attempt. The reinging Spanish national champs got some three and even four-points advantages during the second half (8-4, 8-5 and 9-6) before Gabriël Hernandez' squad made a strong comeback to secure the nice victory in the final minute of the game. The Cup win was the second consecutive for Iñaki Aquilar and Ivan Peréz (pictured) who had last year won the trophy both playing for C.N. Barcelona. It was the first national Cup triumph for the team of Sabadell since the '04-'05 season. Sabadell's Oscar Carrillo was named both MVP and tournament's top goal scorer.
