The Spanish national Cup final will see a big matchup between the current league's leader and numer two, title-holder Barceloneta and Sabadell respectively. After the semi-finals, played on Saturday, the final is scheduled for Sunday already, all being held at a tournament at Sant Andreu this weekend. Sabadell defeated Terrassa 10-6 while Barceloneta secured a final spot after their 10-5 victory over Mataro Quadis earlier on Saturday which will enable them to battle for their ninth national Cup trophy on Sunday. Sabadell saw a strong performance by their goalkeeper Iñaki Aquilar being helped by offensive power from Óscar Carrillo, veteran centre-forward Ivan Perez and Gonzalo Óscar Echenique who all scored two goals. Barceloneta already led by a resounding 1-6 at half time and only had problems to deal with one player from the opponent: 28-year old Árpád Babay who scored all five goals for Mataro but could not prevent his team from being eliminated by the title favorit. Spanish international Xavi Valles (pictured), Fran Fernandez and Marko Petkovic all scored two goals for Barceloneta.Copa del Rey 2012
