North American victories in Holiday Cup openers

The 2012 edition of the Holiday Cup started yesterday night with lots of goals and two victories by the North American teams. On the opening day of the women´s four nation tournament to be held in Los Alamtios, USA the home team gained a clear 17-10 victory against European champion when ten different players scored for the three-time FINA World champion. In the second match Canada beat the reigning World champion Greece by three goals, 10-7. Action will go tonight with day 2 of the prelims.
