Due to bad weather, just two of the six scheduled games in the Adriatic League were played. In the two big matchups, Primorje reached an 8-13 win in Zagreb against Mladost while Jug shook off Jadran Herceg Novi 13-7 at home on Saturday as well. With the returned head coach Veselin Duho on the bench, the fans at Dubrovnik saw Europeans silver medalist Nikola Janovic scoring five goals for Jug. The game between Mladost and Primorje resulted in the Rijeka side gaining a big win and getting firm grip on the third place in the rankings, right behind number two Jug. At the beginning of the third quarter, Mladost was on the verge of returning (4-6) but Daniel Varga on the other end scored the 4-7 goal and Primorje, with a solid performance from Montenegrin goalkeeper Zdravko Radic, walked away to the 8-13 victory. The trio of Denes Varga, Nikola Frankovic and Petar Muslim scored two goals each for Primorje while 2012 European champion Vanja Udovicic netted two for Mladost. A new date for the postponed matches is still to be decided.
