Cup competition to cover break in Italy

The European top leagues are facing a break until the first days of February due to the upcoming European Championships. In Italy this period will be used to organise the first round of the Coppa Italia, as the national cup competition is called. Here four four-team-tournaments at Sori, Torino, Catania and the former powerhouse Pescara will be held 13-15 January – without the top teams of last year´s season.
