Olympiacos and Ugra Khanty start with win

The top teams from Olympiacos and Ugra Khanty from Russia started the LEN Trophy quarter finals with a win on Saturday at home. Olympiacos defeated Fiorentina 11-7 while the all-Russian battle between Ugra Khanty and Uralochka Zlatoust ended in a 14-10 win for the home team. The quarter final between Dutch representative ZVL en current Hungarian number two Szentesi VK ended in a 9-9 draw with ZVL scoring just four goals out of sixteen power play opportunities. Former Dutch international Noeki Klein was the MVP scoring five goals for ZVL.
